The book release of „Lukas aus der Asche - Auferstandenes Kulturerbe aus dem 3D-Labor” (Luke from the Ashes - Resurrected Heritage from the 3D Lab) at the publishing house „Kunstverlag Josef Fink” forms the crowning conclusion of the exciting research project. In March 2015 the supplementing of the monumental sculpture of St. Luke that was burned to a third, was successfully completed. Soon the question arose how to appropriately document the complex and long-standing works. Could someone still understand later, how it had come to the supplements? The research project had produced special procedures. Was it not worthwhile to document them in detail? Then, the invented methods could serve other projects as a reference. The idea to trace the way of „Luke from the Ashes“ was born. The book, written in German and published in August 2016, gives the reader a look behind the scenes. It allows surprising insights into the work during the „resurrection“ of the Saint.
